FMSRT 2026

The Forum on Modulation Spaces and Regularity Theory in Harmonic Analysis and Partial Differential Equations (FMSRT 2026) is an intensive five-day conference in Mathematics held at Kerala School of Mathematics (KSoM), in association with the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), for research scholars, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and advanced graduate students. It focuses on two central themes: modulation spaces and the regularity theory of PDEs. These topics form a natural link between harmonic analysis and PDEs, with connections to time–frequency analysis, Fourier methods, and nonlinear phenomena.

The program includes two thematic lecture series delivered by experts: modulation spaces by Prof. Divyang Bhimani and regularity theory of PDEs by Prof. Swarnendu Sil. These lectures offer a systematic introduction to the areas alongside recent developments. In addition, there will be invited talks on related topics, as well as online lectures by Prof. Joachim Toft and Prof. S. Ivan Trapass. The conference will also include short talks and poster presentations by selected participants, providing opportunities for early-career researchers to present their work and engage with current research. The structure of the program is intended to balance expository lectures with research talks, allowing participants to follow the main themes while also being exposed to a range of current problems and techniques.
